Digital cameras

I am looking into a small digital camera to take on investigations. Can you tell me what to look for in this camera. Do I need more than 4 pixels? Do they come with night vision or infared? What is the ghostinvestigator today using in the field? I appreciate any help. Thanks, Ollie

Hi Ollie,
There are so many digital cameras to chose from ! Mine is a couple years old but I have had good results. It's a Konica Minolta 5.0 mega pixel with 8x optical zoom.(gift from my hubby who knows more about cameras)
If I could improve on it...I'd like one that could take night photos without a flash...because I can get carried away when I see something & temporarily "blind"my fellow-ghosthunters when the flash goes (oops-sorry!)
As far as infrared/night vision...I bet John Sullivan of Haunted Hunters PSI could give you good advice.

I have several that I use as well. I have a Konica Minolta Dimage Z2, Konica Minolta Dimage Z5 and a Nikon 7600. I really like all three of them and find that all seem very similar. I just purchased the Nikon last week and haven't used it at night very much.

Check Out this Link I found it useful, when it comes to Digital Cameras. It answered a lot of my own questions.
